Rohit Sharma's Covid test positive, who will be the Indian captain for Ind vs Eng 5th Test

Indian captain Rohit Sharma has tested positive for COVID-19 as per the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted on Saturday.

ccording to the BCCI, Indian captain Rohit Sharma has been kept in isolation at the team hotel and is under the supervision of the BCCI medical team.

Rohit has given RT-PCR test this morning, and the result of the RT-PCR will come tonight at 8 pm.

The captaincy chances are high for Rishabh Pant. Recently, he led Team India to a 2-2 win in the T20 series against South Africa.

India is leading 2-1 in this test series, and the credit goes to Virat Kohli, who led Team India brilliantly in four test matches.

India vs England 5th Test will be played from July, 1-5 at 3:30 PM IST at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
