The principal of an inter college in Pratapgarh district has ordered an inquiry into an incident that allegedly made objectionable remarks on the transfer certificate (TC) of a class 12 student. Education department officials have ordered an inquiry into the incident. District School Inspector Pratapgarh Sarvadanand said that the matter has come to the notice of the education department officials through the IGRS portal. The principal of Jageshwar Inter College in Pratapgarh district has been accused of writing remarks. The DIOS further said that a detailed inquiry has been ordered and action will be initiated after the inquiry report is received.

However, he said that it is not proper to make such comments on the transfer certificate of any student. The officials are probing the facts related to the case and action will be initiated. He also claimed that he had spoken to the college authorities on the issue. When the family members of the student tried to talk to the principal in this regard, he refused, mocking them saying that the student would not get admission in any college in the country. Preliminary reports claimed that two groups of students had a face-off on the college campus on October 27. After this incident, the authorities started action and punished some errant students including the victim. The aggrieved student, (who was allegedly punished along with other students) had sought a transfer certificate from the college authorities, following which the college principal allegedly wrote a comment on his TC.
