Digital Desk, Tel Aviv. Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian man and wounded two others in the West Bank city of Nablus on Monday. This information was given by an eyewitness.
Ahmed Jibril, the head of the emergency and ambulance department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, told reporters that 31-year-old Jameel al-Kayal was shot dead, Xinhua news agency reported. Two other people were injured in this action. Palestinian man eyewitnesses said a special Israeli army force raided the Al-Ain refugee camp and the old city of Nablus to arrest wanted Palestinian activists who are involved in carrying out attacks against Israel. He said Israeli troops also arrested a third person from home in his refugee camp.
Israeli media reported that several Palestinian gunmen opened fire to prevent Israeli troops from advancing into the city of Nablus, but there were no reports of any injuries to the soldiers. Doctors and eyewitnesses said a Palestinian protester was killed and dozens wounded in clashes with Israeli troops near Nablus on Friday.
