The Rajasthan government has issued new corona guidelines, under which government and private educational institutions of the state have been allowed to operate with 100 percent capacity from November 15. Also, the limit on the number of guests in wedding ceremonies, which was earlier 200, has also been removed. The new guidelines were issued on Monday evening.

Home Department Principal Secretary Abhay Kumar issued an order saying that classes from 1st to 12th in all government and private schools as well as private and government universities can be started from November 15 with 100 percent capacity. Both academic and non-academic staff will also be able to come to full capacity in all coaching institutes and students will be able to study at 100 percent capacity. The state government has also removed restrictions on the number of people attending marriage ceremonies or other auspicious functions.

Along with this, political, sports, entertainment, cultural, religious gatherings, celebration of festivals etc. have also been allowed in public places. The Home Department said that there has been a steady decline in positive Kovid cases. The state reported four new positive cases on Monday and has a total of 42 active cases so far. Meanwhile, he said that masks would remain mandatory for the general public and testing, tracking and other treatment protocols and vaccination campaigns would continue. It is necessary to follow the norms related to sanitization, social distancing and ventilation in closed places.
