Digital Desk, New Delhi. In many schools of Delhi, now instead of CBSE, the academic curriculum will be taught and taught on the basis of International Board. For this special training is being given to the teachers. The working philosophy, curriculum of the International Board is being explained to the teachers. Through this it will be known that how to bring about a radical change in the methods of education and evaluation method. How to give equal opportunity to the students to participate in the class. For this, initially about 350 teachers are being trained. These teachers will be able to successfully prepare unit plans in collaboration with their colleagues and have a clear understanding of the skill concept-based curriculum.

Actually, the purpose of this whole exercise is to fulfill the agenda of starting international curriculum in the Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE). Pathways School Noida will organize 3 or more such sessions in the coming days and the target is to train around 300 to 350 teachers through this training program. Pathways organized the fourth training session of IB MYP Curriculum on Tuesday on a specific request from the Education Department, Delhi. The training was provided free of cost to the teachers of government schools in Delhi and the objective of the event is to fulfill the agenda of introducing international curriculum in the Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE).

More than 70 teachers from top government schools participated in the session which included teachers from SBV Suraj Mal Vihar, SKV Mayur Vihar Phase 1 Pocket 4, SKV Suraj Mal Vihar, SKV Laxmi Nagar, SKV Vivek Vihar and other such reputed schools. In the training program, PSN explained to the teachers about various aspects of IB such as vertical curriculum planning support, introduction to IB curriculum, introduction to IB terminology, training on vertical and horizontal alignment of content and promotion of questioning in teaching, Interactive learning from different subjects and the activities of the students themselves. Dr Shalini Advani, Director, Pathways, said, “We are extremely proud that our teachers have voluntarily taken the time to promote this cutting-edge education. It is to the credit of Delhi Government that it understood the benefits of IB education and gave opportunity to government school teachers to take advantage of our knowledge and expertise.

In the training sessions, the teachers understood the working philosophy, curriculum of IB and learned how its teaching methods and evaluation methodology has changed radically and students are given equal opportunities to participate in the classroom. 3 or more such sessions will be organized in the coming days and through this training program around 300 to 350 teachers are targeted to be trained.
