Digital Desk, Delhi. The first cutoff for Delhi University’s post graduate courses has been released. Under the new education policy, world class and international courses are being offered to the students. Students from across the country have registered themselves for 75 PG programs in Delhi University. Delhi University has started admissions for only 39 courses out of 75 different post graduate courses. Merit list has been released for them. Different colleges of Delhi University will accept admission on the basis of this merit list till November 22. Students can pay the fees for these admissions till November 23. Fees will have to be paid online through the portal.
DU will also promote research work and for this science students will be given various options through NEP. According to the university, an average of 9 students have applied for each seat in Delhi University PG course this year. Delhi University has about 20,000 seats in various postgraduate programs, but about 1.80 lakh students have applied for these courses. At the same time, about 28,827 registrations were done for MPhil and PhD. The entrance test for the registered students was held on 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 September and 1 October.
The second merit list for PG admission will be released by Delhi University on November 26. Based on the second merit list, the admission process will be started from November 27 to November 30. After this, the third merit list for PG admission will be released on December 3. It is worth noting that while the admissions for PG courses are starting in Delhi University, the application process for undergraduate courses in Delhi University has ended. Preparations are being made to start a new batch for the first year of undergraduate courses i.e. 2021-2022 session. According to Delhi University registrar Vikas Gupta, students applying for admission to UG courses can submit their fees till November 19.
After the completion of the admission process of the new batch in Delhi University, the first year online classes will be started from November 22. According to the calendar released by Delhi University, the first examination of these students will be conducted in the year 2022. These exams will be held from March 21 to April 4.
